Associate Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology
Dr. Jim Brokaw serves as Associate Dean for Admissions and Medical Student Affairs.
In this position, he oversees the numerous functional areas of the Office of Medical Student Affairs, including Student Records, Financial Aid, Mentoring and Student Development, Medical Service Learning, and Health Professions Programs. He also serves as the Dean of Admissions.
Dr. Brokaw interfaces with academic assessment organizations — National Boards (Applications/Scores), USMLE (scores and shelf exams) — and serves on several IUSM committees.
In addition to his administrative role at the IU School of Medicine, Dr. Brokaw is an Associate Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology.
